His library currently hosts over 850 different biblical editions in more than 110 languages. For about 20 years he has been interested in the story of the Bibelforscher during Nazism. He has so far collected over 2,000 pages of documents from the time, numerous testimonies from former deportees and dozens of texts. He also deals with the history of Salerno during the 20th century, in particular with regards to the years of the Second World War. On these subjects he has written about a hundred articles and essays published by local and national periodicals and newspapers for which he collaborates.
